Boasting a construction made entirely of Chromoly steel and redefining the standard of alpine climbing, the CAMP Alpinist Pro Crampons - Auto / Semi-Auto are fully equipped and totally capable of conquering the most challenging terrain.
Delivering high levels of energy absorption wherever the crampons might experience stress, the Chromoly steel construction offers exceptional durability and impact resistance when kicking into hard ice and snow. Alongside this, the Alpinist Pro's connection joints have been eliminated, leaving little or no room for play and reducing the flex in the crampons. This combined with the unique heel slide, helps to integrate a micro-adjustable linking bar with the heel piece, reducing torsional rigidity and providing overall better stability and support when front pointing.
The Alpinist Pro Crampons asymmetric design achieves a precise and powerful fit with modern boots, thanks to its two front ice points and their design, which works in conjunction with the second point helping to achieve maximum hold and total confidence in steep or challenging conditions.
Completely customizable, the Alpinist's automatic and semi-auto toe bails are included for compatibility with all boots and different conditions. The front bail and heel bail's height and position can be completely adjusted to cater for all heel lasts and to find the optimal positioning of the front points for your boots. Whereas, the Alpinist's dynamic anti-balling plates make use of a unique design and elastic material to prevent snow build-up underfoot.
