Il marchio SALEWA nasce negli anni '30 del novecento, come produttore di selle e zaini. Durante gli anni sessanta SALEWA introdusse la produzione di ramponi e dei primi chiodi da ghiaccio in commercio. In seguito SALEWA iniziò la collaborazione con Reinhold Messner e Kurt Albert, e nel 1990 fu acquisita da Oberalp che ne trasferì la sede a Bolzano.
Ski Trab è un'azienda specializzata nella produzione di sci, bastoncini, pelli ed accessori da neve. Dalla fine della seconda guerra mondiale diventa un punto di riferimento per tutti gli appassionati di scialpinismo grazie all'intuizione di Stefano Trabucchi che nel 1946 costruì i primi sci in legno massiccio. Oggi l'azienda ha sede a Bormio, nel cuore delle Alpi Italiane. Ski Trab è ricerca, tecnologia costruttiva, evoluzione ma soprattutto affidabilità.
